Today's post is a tribute to my beautiful and hysterical friend Autumn, who married her best friend Clark almost two years ago! She had this stunning lace gown and, feeling that a veil would just be too much, I made her a garter.
This is the garter:
And this is Clark removing the garter from Autumn's person:
Don't worry, they are a classy couple! In any case, I am happy to announce that I will now be adding garters to my repertoire!
And since this is new, I will be offering, for the month of October, a BOGO deal: anybody who commissions a veil, headpiece, or fascinator AND a garter will receive 50% off that garter!
So BeLovelies, you know where to find me; please let me know if you're looking for a veil or a garter this month and let me take care of it!
Love,
A

Time Flies (when you're BeLoved)!
You could say this post is a little overdue, but I'd like to put up some photos of an older project: my gorgeous friend Holly's bridal headpiece. Holly has been married to Mike for one year now (as of last Sunday!) and they are an adorable couple.
This project was definitely a custom piece. The rosette actually came from Holly's dress (it very cleverly had plethora of detachable rosettes), which I manipulated a bit, beaded and then combined with the feathers (Mike's request), and the tulle (Holly's) on a comb so that she could wear it easily in her hair.
Cheers and Congratulations Holly and Mike!! And thanks to Holly's excellent photographer.
And just a reminder, the Back-to-School sale is still going on! 20% off any veil, headpiece, or fascinator commissioned in the month of September! See the post below for details!
XOXO

Happy September!
The fall, it is a-coming! And in honor of all you ladies who got engaged this summer, I'm excited to announce BeLoved Veils' first ever Back-To-School sale!
Here's how it works: I will be giving a 20% discount to anyone who commissions a veil, headpiece or fascinator in the month of September. Each headpiece I create is unique, so rates will vary. But my standard fee is $13/hour spent on your veil, plus materials, so 20% off could save you some major bucks!!!
Call me at 775-315-6553 or email me at ahawkinsrhs6@yahoo.com if you would like to commission a veil or just get some more info.
And happy back-to-school!

Sweet Day!
I went to a really cute wedding reception tonight ('tis the season), and thought, 'well, it's about time I get some photos on this here blog!'
So here we are. These are from my good friend Amber's May wedding to my good friend Grant. I'm not going to brag about how I set them up on that first date or anything. But I did make Amber's veil, so here are some shots courtesy of her amazing photographer Leo Patrone (whom you should all check out, he does some stunning work).
Sigh. Love.

Brand New!
Hello Lovers! Welcome to BeLoved Veils, a brand new, home-grown Bridal Accessories business right here in Provo, Utah. Now let's be honest with each other, wedding-related businesses in Utah Valley are a dime-a-dozen, but what bride doesn't want a stunning, hand-crafted headpiece for her big day at a fraction of the price of some mass-manufactured piece of tulle from a bridal shop??? Come on.
So. About me. I'm a graduate of Brigham Young University in Theatrical Costume design, and have a love of all things vintage, sparkly, pleated, ruffled, and lacy. I've been sewing professionally for various theatrical endeavors for about 4 years now, and crafting custom accessories all my life! I believe that every bride deserves a little hand-made something-something for a great price, and I'm always keen to design and create something unique, fun, flirty, elegant, or timeless.
Please check out my page on Facebook, BeLoved Veils, and if you're looking for a stunning veil, fascinator, or headpiece for your wedding, please shoot me an email or give me a call. I promise to hook you up.
